Domain Registration Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing DesignThat Cloud Domain Registration Services. These terms and conditions outline the rights and responsibilities associated with the registration and ownership of domains with us. Please carefully read and understand the following terms before proceeding with the registration process.
1. Registration and Ownership
a. Eligibility: By registering a domain with DesignThat Cloud, you affirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
b. Accurate Information: You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during the registration process. It is crucial to maintain up-to-date contact details associated with your domain registration.
c. Ownership: While DesignThat Cloud is listed as the registrar, you retain full ownership rights to the registered domain. You have the authority to transfer the domain to another registrar, following the applicable procedures.
2. Payment and Renewal
a. Fees: The registration fee for your domain will be clearly specified during the registration process. Additional fees may apply for renewal and transfer services.
b. Renewal Responsibility: It is your responsibility to renew your domain before the expiration date to ensure uninterrupted ownership. Failure to renew on time may result in the loss of your domain.
c. Auto-Renewal: Auto-renewal options are available to facilitate continuous ownership. By default, auto-renewal may be enabled, and associated fees will be charged accordingly.
3. Domain Transfers and Renewal
a. Transfers: Should you decide to transfer your domain to another registrar, you must adhere to the designated transfer process. DesignThat Cloud reserves the right to deny transfer requests under specific circumstances.
b. Renewal Grace Period: While DesignThat Cloud may provide a grace period following the expiration date for renewal without additional charges, this is not guaranteed, and we retain the discretion to enforce renewal fees immediately upon expiration.
4. Domain Use and Restrictions
a. Lawful Use: You agree to use your registered domain in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
b. Prohibited Activities: Engaging in activities that violate our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) is strictly prohibited. Please refer to our AUP document for a detailed list of prohibited activities.
c. Intellectual Property: It is your responsibility to ensure that your domain registration does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
5. Termination
DesignThat Cloud reserves the right to terminate your domain registration services under various circumstances, including non-payment, violation of terms, or legal requirements.
6. Dispute Resolution
a. Disputes: Disputes related to domain registration will be resolved according to the dispute resolution procedures established by the relevant domain registry.
b. Legal Actions: You agree to resolve any disputes through arbitration or legal proceedings as outlined by applicable laws and regulations.
7. Modification of Terms
DesignThat Cloud retains the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Notice of changes will be communicated through the email address associated with your account.
